BUILDING A LEGACY OF LITERACY
At Explore With Purpose, we understand that a dedicated, inspiring space for independent study is foundational to a child’s educational journey. Students at Ololosokwan Primary School previously faced barriers to learning resources, with no central place to access books or study quietly. To address this, we partnered with local teams to completely refurbish a neglected, unused teachers’ housing complex, transforming it into a vibrant library fully fitted with sturdy tables, shelving, books, and an adjacent washroom.

The brand-new library at Ololosokwan Primary School provides students with a safe, quiet, and focused environment to dream, learn, and grow. Fully equipped with modern shelving, furniture, and a curated book collection, the library removes traditional barriers to educational resources, enhancing daily learning routines and empowering teachers and students for years to come.
Project Overview
WHO:
Students and educators of Ololosokwan Primary School.
WHY:
The school lacked a centralized space for books and research materials, limiting students strictly to standard textbooks. Furthermore, the designated site – the old housing complex – was dilapidated and unsafe, serving no functional purpose for the campus.
WHAT:
The project involved a complete structural restoration of the former housing units into a school library, constructing an essential adjacent washroom facility, and supplying custom tables, chairs, shelving, and books.
IMPACT:
The new library offers a dignified space for exploration and discovery, empowering students to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom. By transforming a historic structure into a hub for literacy, the project fosters a community of lifelong learners and long-term academic success.
